Lucy Alexis Liu (Chinese: 劉玉玲; pinyin: Liú Yùlíng; born December 2, 1968) is an Emmy Award-nominated American actress. She is the daughter of Chinese immigrant parents. She became known for her role in the television series Ally McBeal (1998–2002) and has also appeared in several notable film roles, including Chicago, Kill Bill and the Charlie\\\'s Angels films.
